Welcome to Skyline Bostons !

We are a family of 5, hobby breeders of Boston Terriers, who hope to one day be involved in the show world. Our very first litter of Boston Terriers were born in July of 2006, and we remember that day like it was yesterday! Every litter that is born, is just as exciting filled with as much happiness as the first! Colors of our Bostons include black and white, and black/brindle and white, seal (black with red undertone) & white, solid seal (red) & white, and occasionally we have blue and white Bostons. Although a recessive gene, the solid seal and the blue coats are actually considered a "fault" regarding standard coat colors. This does not, however, affect the over all health, temperment, or loving capabilities of the dog. We are located on a 40 acre acreage, here in Saskatchewan, Canada. We are family owned, and operated. All of us take part in the caring, raising, and responsibilities that are involved daily with our Bostons. Inside, our kennel is very clean, and comfortable, with bright sunshine that fills the room, temperature control which includes heating, and air conditioning, with exhaust fans in the ceiling to maintain fresh air. Outside, our dogs have 10 foot runs to play in. Each kennel has its own doggy door so they can access the outdoors anytime they wish. Every evening we rotate the dogs so that every one of them has evenings inside our home. We do things with our dogs such as leash training, commands, extra special groomings that the dogs really enjoy, and of course we play lots, and love to snuggle with them as well. We have a separate whelping room inside our home so they have peace, quiet, and a relaxed atmosphere in which to give birth. We also have baby monitors in our bedroom so that we can hear everything that is going on in the kennel throughout the night. Our 4-legged family members have lots of attention, and love, are hand raised, and socialized with other dogs, people, and children on a daily basis. We are Boston Terrier FANATICS! We absolutely LOVE what we do, and wouldn't want to be doing anything else. We would never leave any of our buyers stranded, and are available for any questions, or concerns they may have. We love all of our Bostons, and their pups, and treat them with the ut-most respect, love, and compassion. We offer advice, and guidance to our buyers, to the best of our ability, as things, or questions do pop up from time to time. Please feel free to email us regarding any questions, inquiries, or more information on how to go about purchasing a sweet little Boston Terrier of your own.

Losing a pet is hard, and your grief is REAL.

We, as a family, know the pain and sorrow of losing a loved one. When Angel was taken from us suddenly in 2005, I didn't think I would ever be able to stop the tears and pain I felt.   Angel, my "gentle giant", made such a huge impact on my life, and I take comfort in knowing we will meet again on Rainbows Bridge. Having Angel in our lives made such a difference that we now surround ourselves with our passion of dogs, and want to help other families have an "Angel" in their lives. I know when the sad day comes time for our beloved others to cross, she will be there to meet, and look over them until I arrive.
Thank you so much to Rainbows Bridge for permission to post their beautiful graphic as a link to their site, so that those that visit our site, can obtain access to such a wonderful and important place.  It is a place you can go when you have lost your beloved pet, and get understanding and support .

I miss you dearly my "gentle giant"

As you know, dogs really are my whole life. The amount of love I have for each and every one is so incredibly strong, I just really can't even put it into words. A dog's love is unconditional, and you can be guaranteed that they will always be your #1 fan.  For my family, it just doesn't get any better than that.  You may have already seen this prayer, because it is on many sites. Just in case you may not have seen it however, I want to ensure you do. I can’t even begin to count the number of times I have read this and it still ends up bringing me to a flood of tears every time. And so…I wanted to share this with you:

A Dogs Prayer

Do not break my spirit with a stick, for though I should lick your hand between the blows, your patience and understanding will more quickly teach me the things you would have me do.

Speak to me often, for your voice is the world's sweetest music, as you must know by the fierce wagging of my tail when your footstep falls upon my waiting ear.

When it is cold and wet, please take me inside, for I am now a domesticated animal, no longer use to bitter elements. I ask no greater glory than the privilege of sitting at your feet beside the hearth. Though if you had no home, I would rather follow you through ice and snow than rest upon the softest pillow in the warmest home in all the land, for you are my God and I am your devoted worshiper.

Keep my pan filled with fresh water, for although I would not reproach you were it dry, I cannot tell you when I suffer thirst. Feed me clean food, that I may stay well, to romp and play and do your bidding, to walk by your side, and stand ready, willing and able to protect you with my life should your life be in danger.

And, beloved master, should the great Master see fit to deprive me of my health or sight, do not turn me away from you. Rather hold me gently in your arms as skilled hands grant me a merciful eternal rest - and I will leave you knowing with the last breath I drew, my fate was ever safest in your hands.....
